Will Schlackl and Dave Elliot are two seasoned veterans of the Canadian music scene who have collectively logged more hours on patios than most people spend in meetings.
Known for their work with Jack and Jill and Fluxx, they’ve recently been spotted operating under the highly flammable but very effective name WD 40.
WD 40 is a stripped-down, unplugged approach to rock ’n’ roll, because lugging around extra gear after 40 is simply unnecessary. Their natural habitat includes patios, markets, breweries, and anywhere the sun is shining and a power outlet is suspiciously far away.
Expect Canadiana in all its forms: familiar tunes, well-worn guitars, stories that may or may not start with “back in the day,” and the unmistakable sound of rock songs that have been lovingly broken in, much like the performers themselves.
